Who we are
EV Insurance Hub was founded in 2024 by a small team of former insurance underwriters, financial journalists and EV enthusiasts who saw that mainstream auto insurance coverage had not kept pace with the specific concerns of electric vehicle owners — battery damage, OEM certified repair networks, telematics-based pricing and the rise of automaker-led insurance programs.
Today our work is read by more than 12,000 EV owners every month and cited by industry trade press, consumer advocacy groups and policy researchers. We publish every article under the byline of a named, verifiable expert — never under a generic editorial alias.
How we work
Our analysts pull live quotes from more than forty US carriers each quarter. We read every word of the policy contracts we cover, file real claims when we can, and interview EV owners about their actual experience. Where we use third-party data — J.D. Power, NAIC, LexisNexis, HLDI — we cite it explicitly.
