Fact-Checking Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Every claim on EV Insurance Hub is checked against a primary source.

Standard

Every quantitative and factual claim — premium averages, market share, regulatory rules, coverage definitions — must be traceable to a primary source. We do not cite blog posts, content marketing or unverifiable forum threads.

Tiers of sources

  • Tier 1: regulators (NAIC, state insurance departments, EU EIOPA, UK FCA).
  • Tier 2: established industry data providers (J.D. Power, LexisNexis, HLDI, S&P Global Mobility).
  • Tier 3: carrier public disclosures and SEC filings.
  • Tier 4: our own quote-pull and policy-reading research.

Corrections

If you spot an error, please email corrections@evinsurancehub.example with the article URL. We acknowledge every submission within two business days and publish corrections at the bottom of the affected article with the date and nature of the change.

Annual review

Cornerstone guides are reviewed at least once per calendar year, and updated with current market data each spring.
